Flower petals in pink, yellow and red, along with coloured powder patterns in maroon, gold and black, decorate the cloth, and loose petals and yellow marigold heads scatter the dark floor. A devotee seated cross-legged in a white dhoti with a red-and-gold border and a wristwatch is visible at the top, and a brass pot with flowers stands at the left. The setting suggests a puja or abhishekam offering; no clear face or a person identification is visible.2018-01-05A decorated square ritual tray on a silver-edged base is covered with white cloth and arranged with pink and red flower petals, yellow marigold blooms, coloured grain or powder patterns in yellow, red and white, and a black grain square. Two red apples and a pomegranate sit at the corners, with a hand in a gold bangle placing a pomegranate at the right. A lit oil lamp glows at the left edge, with a woven basket and a brass vessel behind. No people's faces are visible; the scene looks like a floral and fruit offering arrangement.2016-08-14
