A large crowd of devotees sits on the sandy ground facing a low raised platform on the right. Most attendees wear white clothing; some women wear red or pink shawls and a few wear blue or tan. A person in orange robes sits cross-legged on a white-draped seat at the platform, speaking into a microphone. A second figure in orange sits beside a shrine-like stone structure decorated with a white floral garland. A small stand with an easel board stands near the tree, and a sacred stone pedestal with offerings sits at the platform's edge.2005-12-18 +1 copies
