Five performers sit on a red cloth-covered platform in front of dark maroon curtains and a white brick wall with a potted plant. Left, a man in orange kurta plays a tabla-style drum pair. Behind him, a woman in orange plays a long-necked stringed instrument (tanpura). In the centre, a man in a yellow kurta with a white shawl sings into a microphone, with a small harmonium-type instrument before him. Beside him, a woman in orange sits at a microphone. At far right, a grey-haired man in a yellow kurta sings or chants into a microphone beside a black Radel-branded instrument box. A white cup sits on the stage. The scene reads as a kirtan or satsang concert with music.2008-05-12Photograph of a seated musical performance on a red floor covering before a pale lavender drape.
