Several men in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls handle the lifting, with one bare-chested man in orange guiding the load. Rows of carved grey granite figures, including seated sages with beards and mala necklaces and a standing deity with a halo, rest on a red-brown plinth behind a wire mesh fence. Red and orange flags flank the scene under an overcast sky. Yellow crane arm and hook are visible at top left.2016-09-03Photo 11705617 +1 copiesA photograph inside a temple hall where a grey stone deity murti is being lowered into place on a plinth, suspended from a metal frame with white slings. Trees and dry grass surround the setting.2015-02-05Outdoors beside a palm tree and an ornate terracotta-coloured shrine pillar, a figure in red-orange garments and a red and white flower garland hoists a large saffron-orange flag bearing a dark bird-like emblem. A second person in orange robes with a gold-striped shawl, shaved head and a rudraksha-style necklace stands at lower right, pulling the flag rope. Yellow marigold garlands drape the shrine base.
