A paved courtyard under construction with grey-brown flat stone slabs being laid on a bed of sand and cement. Five workers crouch and kneel on the stones, several in dark shirts, one in a white shirt and one in a yellow shirt, with red and maroon headcloths visible. Two standing men in white shirts and a standing figure in a maroon cloth observe nearby. Scattered cut stone blocks, rubble and tools lie around the site. Behind them are stacked orange-red shipping containers and a red brick wall, with trees in the background.2016-09-01Photo 11705609 +1 copiesApril 2008 - Making Of Kailaasa In TiruvannamalaiSeptember 03 20162016-09-03 +1 copiesConstruction workers at an outdoor excavation site dig red earth and set stones along a steep embankment beside a new stepped stone platform. A worker in a white shirt and blue head cloth swings a pickaxe at the slope, while another in a plaid shirt and white head wrap stands by the wall. A bent worker in a checked shirt and purple lungi places rubble stones, and a man in an olive shirt and grey trousers stands on the granite steps. Plastic buckets, a green hose and a water bottle lie near the steps, and a rubble pile sits at the top of the slope. No deity, a person or ritual activity is visible.2008-10-26Outdoor construction scene on a campus. Four men work on a paved area of large flat grey stone slabs laid over sand and cement. A bent-over worker in a checked lungi and head cloth presses slabs; a younger man in a striped green-and-navy sweater carries a flat tray; a man in a pink checked shirt and grey trousers stands holding a tray; an older man in a white head wrap and light blue shirt watches. Behind them is a three-storey red-orange building with split air-conditioning units on its balconies, a few trees, and a green bin on the left. A bare-footed worker stands on the stone at the right. No deity, ritual or discourse is visible.2016-09-01November 18 20162016-11-18September 06 20162016-09-06September 01 20162016-09-01August 27 20162016-08-27November 18 20162016-11-18A photograph of four men laying stone paving on an outdoor walkway beside a red boundary wall and green bamboo and trees. The man at the front wears a maroon shirt and dark jeans and leans forward gripping a flat grey stone slab. Beside him a young man in a red striped shirt and grey trousers steadies a large dressed stone block, and a man in a brown shirt stands at the left holding a long metal bar. Another worker stands behind them. Loose cut stones and a pile of paving blocks lie along the right edge, and a faint purple logo appears in the upper left corner.
