August 29 20162016-08-29August 29 20162016-08-29Outdoor photo on a concrete path beside a large stacked pile of cut sandstone blocks, some carved, with dry red earth and a fence on the right. A bearded man in a rust-red saffron-toned dhoti and wrap with a rudraksha mala walks forward, with a white-shirted man and a woman in a light patterned top and dark leggings beside him. Behind them, several people in orange and yellow garments walk along the path, and a figure in white and another in a light blue shirt follow. Trees and construction equipment appear in the background under a pale sky. The bearded man shows distinctive saffron clothing and a mala, consistent with a person as the visiting leader on a campus tour.2017-03-26Outdoor bhumi puja at a dug foundation pit. A bearded man with long dark hair, wearing a rust-brown robe, a rudraksha mala and a long multicolour flower garland, stands barefoot at the pit edge smiling. A priest in white dhoti with a gold border, bare-chested, stands at left facing him and pours from a brass vessel. Behind, men in white dhotis and orange-clad drummers stand on grass; one holds a small drum. A red-and-yellow ceremonial canopy fringe appears top left. Bricks, petals and dug soil fill the pit foreground.2016-11-23February 18 20082008-02-18December 14 20162016-12-14Outdoor construction site at an ashram under a pale hazy sky, with concrete block walls and gravel piles. Many people in orange and white robes gather and work: a man in orange kneels and shovels gravel near a blue tarp, a worker in a green checked shirt bends over the pile, and young men in orange sashes stand in the foreground. A white-clad man wearing a beaded necklace and a dhoti stands at center beside a worker in a blue checked shirt. A saffron-robed figure stands on a raised platform in the background beside a tall pillar. Several women in white saris and men in white kurtas watch from the right, and a tractor and water tank appear on the horizon.2006-12-12October 11 20162016-10-11October 31 20162016-10-31Photo 11704685 +1 copiesOutdoor photo on a stone-paved courtyard at an ashram, with a tall wooden pole running diagonally across the frame, a long horizontal pole overhead and a camera on a tripod. Several men walk past the pole: one in an orange shirt and rust-red dhoti in the foreground, another bare-chested in a red-brown dhoti, and others in white dhotis and vests, with a man in a grey t-shirt among them. Behind them women in black and orange-saffron clothing stand and watch, and people in orange robes and white dhotis gather near a brick building and red-walled structure with a green tree. A green mat lies on the ground at the left. Visible people number about twenty.2017-10-03 +1 copiesOutdoor photo on a dusty reddish-brown dirt clearing bordered by dense green trees. A group of about ten people walks in a loose line across the ground. Most wear white garments: white dhotis and white shirts, and several women wear white saris with orange or yellow borders. Several walkers have orange or saffron shawls draped over their shoulders. The figure third from the right in the line wears a full orange robe and has long dark hair, and the person just behind him is in white. On the left, a man in white walks barefoot with his palms pressed together in greeting, and a man in a light shirt and grey trousers stands watching near the trees. At right, a man in white stands near a row of footwear placed on the ground, and a low brick stack sits by the trees.2006-10-07
