The seat is heaped with red roses, white jasmine garlands and green leaves. A silver kalasha or vessel with a mango-leaf and flower finial sits on the right, and a hand wearing a green bead bracelet holds a long ritual implement, possibly a tassel or cloth, over the offering. The setting is a bright outdoor tent or pavilion with blurred greenery behind. No clearly identifiable person is shown. A deity murti is not clearly visible.2016-07-02A photograph of a temple shrine during ritual worship. On the left, a man with a shaved head wears an orange-saffron garment and a beaded necklace, holding a brass bell and a small brass vessel while performing a lamp or incense offering. Ornate golden umbrellas with yellow and magenta tassels hang overhead. At right, a tall deity murti stands in front of a dense arch of white, red, pink and yellow flower garlands, with a green cloth draped below and a trident-like staff beside it. Smoke drifts through the dim scene, and a white fur-like cushion lies on a red velvet seat in the foreground.2011-10-30January 01 20152015-01-01February 16 20162016-02-16February 16 20162016-02-16December 07 20162016-12-07 +1 copiesPhoto 11701317July 17 20132013-07-17A night photograph of a ritual scene.
