Several men have shaved heads and wear rudraksha malas, and the women wear beaded necklaces and drape their garments over their shoulders. Behind them a decorated vehicle with a red, orange and yellow floral canopy carries a framed image of a deity and a flag on a pole. The group numbers roughly two dozen visible people, with some partly obscured in the background. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so roles are used.2013-11-15November 15 20132013-11-15A barefoot procession walks along a paved rural road lined with green trees, with a decorated palanquin or ratha topped with a golden canopy visible in the background. Several devotees in matching rust-orange and saffron robes with rudraksha malas lead the group; a shaved-headed man in front-centre gestures with his hands, and women in orange saris walk alongside. The scene looks like a ritual procession with the decorated vehicle at the rear.2013-11-15Outdoor street procession under a white canopy, with a robed figure in saffron-orange dhoti and matching orange turban standing at left and holding a long pole topped with an orange flag bearing a black Dhyanapeetam emblem. Behind him, saffron-clad sannyasis with rudraksha malas stand among orange flags on poles, with a policeman in a peaked cap at lower right and a crowd of onlookers in the background. Utility poles, wires and multi-storey buildings line the street. Swamiji (probable) is the robed figure at left, identified by the long swept-back hair, saffron turban and ornate orange robes, standing on the raised platform as part of the procession.2008-04-27February 10 20132013-02-10May 21 20162016-05-21 +1 copiesA street procession passes a large blue signboard reading Nithyanandapeetam with contact numbers, beside a roadside hedge and a tree trunk. Marchers carry saffron-orange flags with a blue emblem on poles, and a white placard with a small portrait is raised at right. Many participants wear white ritual dress, some with orange rosettes pinned to their clothes; a woman in a yellow sari with an orange rosette walks at right and a woman in a cream sari walks at center holding a flag. A man in a white shirt and a bearded man in a checked shirt walk in the foreground.2010-07-24June 07 20162016-06-07May 21 20162016-05-21
