In front, a seated figure draped in white and orange with a garland is being honoured, a bell-like kalasha-style offering and tall brass oil lamps stand around, and a man in orange robes with a rudraksha-style garland pours or offers something while another orange-robed man bends forward at left. A bald man in white and orange sits at lower right near offerings. Ornate stone pillars frame the scene.2010-07-21August 18 20182018-08-18A photograph of a temple shrine with a golden arched niche framing two large deity murti, one male with a red turban and trident and one female in a purple sari with a crown, both heavily adorned with gold jewelry and garlands of yellow and red flowers. In front, a devotee in a flowing orange robe stands at left with an oil lamp or aarti flame, and a small figure in orange is seated at the base of the deities. Brass oil lamps stand on either side and a flower-decked offering tray sits at right. Both murtis are draped in marigold and red garlands. In front, a seated figure wrapped in white and orange is being anointed and offered flowers by a standing priest in saffron robes, who holds a brass plate of yellow flowers and gestures toward the murti. Two other priests in saffron sit to the left, and a large flower-decorated altar stands to the right with fruit offerings on a tray below. Most visible people are priests in saffron; the scene reflects an abhishekam ceremony with garlands and offerings.2010-07-21July 05 20152015-07-05
