A large black stone deity murti of a Vaishnava form stands in a golden ratha-style shrine outdoors, with a tall gold crown, white and red urdhva-pundra mark on the forehead, and a white urdhva-pundra on the chest. It wears a green and gold silk dhoti, layered gold and jewelled necklaces, ornate gold armlets and gold-hilted hands, and is draped in a garland of red roses, white jasmine and orange flowers. Gold-carved pillars and a gold lion-head ornament frame the figure, with green foliage and a tree trunk behind. A pink flower sits at its feet.2016-10-26 +1 copiesA close-up photograph of a richly adorned black stone deity murti of Venkateshwara (Vishnu form) standing before a red velvet curtain and gold arch.
