A group of devotees sits cross-legged on orange and blue-striped mats in a plain hall with a thatched roof, white walls and tube lights. Many participants raise both arms overhead in a stretching or salutation posture. Most wear white dhotis and white kurtas with rudraksha malas, and several have vertical white tilak marks on their foreheads and name badges on their shirts. Behind them, a woman in a red top stands near an orange drape, and a dark speaker stands by a table with water containers. Small prayer books lie on the floor at the lower edge of the frame. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person in this crowd.2010-02-08Photo 11742882A large indoor hall filled with seated men in white dhotis and white shirts, sitting cross-legged on striped mats in rows that stretch toward the back of the room.
