It wears a green and red patterned silk turban with a green leafy crown, a multi-layered diamond-studded gold collar and a gold waist belt over orange-and-red clothing. Rudraksha mala beads and long silver-threaded ornaments hang across the chest. Yellow marigold garlands and red rose garlands drape the shoulders and sides. Behind the head rises a large gold hooded cobra canopy with green gem-set fangs, set against carved gold and temple pillars. A banyan-style setting with ceremonial decoration suggests a temple worship display.2011-07-26September 07 20102010-09-07 +1 copiesMarch 25 20152015-03-25A close photograph of a deity murti or stone figure decorated for worship, seen from the chest down.
