On the left, a seated figure on a gilded golden throne is covered with pink flower petals and wears a white garland; the figure is bare-chested with a red tilak and dark hair tied up, with a pair of ceremonial staffs and silver lamps beside the throne. Around the red carpet, roughly a dozen seated devotees sit with palms pressed together in namaskar; many women wear saffron, orange, pink and turquoise saris, while some men wear white dhotis and red shawls. Brass plates with flowers and offerings and a silver kalasha-style vessel rest on the carpet, and a large crowd watches from the background. a person candidate: the throned figure shows only partial cues (bare-chested, garland, throne), not enough to confirm identity.2016-05-24May 24 20162016-05-24A photograph of a golden ceremonial hall where a man with a bare chest, rudraksha-style beads and a garland of white flowers sits on a gold-and-red throne seat with a gilded canopy and bells. Around him, a crowd of devotees sits on a red mat: women in orange and saffron robes with rudraksha malas, men in white dhotis, and people in blue and teal clothing, several holding brass plates of offerings. A small ritual arrangement with a lamp and offerings lies on the floor before the throne, and a tall gold-topped pole stands at the front. The gold-and-red decor and bright lighting suggest a satsang or darshan session.2017-12-15A long-haired figure in an orange dhoti and red shawl sits on a golden throne decorated with yellow, white and purple flower garlands and a gold lion-headed armrest. He wears gold bangles and a flower garland, and holds a peacock-feather fan. Seated devotees in front, several with palms pressed together, face him beside brass trays of pink lotus petals, flowers and small lamps. Men in white shirts and a woman in a red and orange sari are among those seated, with more people standing behind a red-railed walkway at night.2011-12-20October 18 20102010-10-18 +2 copiesDecember 15 20172017-12-15May 24 20162016-05-24
