A seated figure in a rust-orange saffron robe and matching turban sits on a gilded throne with an ornate golden arched backdrop. A yellow marigold garland hangs around his neck with white flowers, and he wears a beaded necklace and wrist bands. A leopard-print cushion and a golden lion-head sculpture sit beside the throne. An older man in a light grey shirt bends forward, offering something to a small child in a white top who holds out a red apple toward the seated figure. A decorated painted panel with deity figures stands behind. Appearance-based label: a person, in person, seated on the throne receiving a visitor's offering.2016-05-18May 18 20162016-05-18 +1 copiesDecember 31 20152015-12-31 +1 copiesFebruary 06 20142014-02-06Photo 11701307 +2 copiesJanuary 01 20132013-01-01 +1 copiesApril 28 20162016-04-28 +1 copiesNovember 04 20152015-11-04October 22 20152015-10-22 +2 copiesA seated person in a dark red-maroon turban with a gold brooch and a white and yellow flower garland stands out at left, wearing red-brown ceremonial cloth, gold armlet and bangles, and holding a red apple-like fruit while speaking. Facing them, an older man in a white shirt and dark belt stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, holding a small offering. Behind them stand gilded deity murtis draped in green, maroon and purple garments, and a large gold throne with a peacock-style backrest sits at left. The seated figure's appearance shows several cues of a person candidate, but the identity remains uncertain from appearance alone.2014-06-12November 10 20152015-11-10A seated man in a saffron-orange turban and orange robe, with long dark hair swept over one shoulder and layered rudraksha malas with gold ornaments around his neck, smiles as he hands a red apple to a young girl in a white top with gold bangles. A boy stands at the right edge. Behind them are gold-coloured ornamental pieces and tasselled cushions on a carved wooden bench with a gold lion-shaped armrest, against a white wall. The man's appearance with distinctive turban, hair and rudraksha is consistent with a person, seated and offering fruit as prasad.2016-05-01
