Rows of black plastic chairs hold devotees, most in white clothing with orange-red shawls or sashes draped over their shoulders, while some women wear bright saffron, pink, green and orange saris. Strings of colourful tassel-like hanging decorations and small lamps fill the ceiling. At the right edge a gilded ornate throne or palanquin stands beside potted plants. The stage area contains a lectern and backdrop. No individual face is clearly identifiable at this distance, and no one is clearly identified as the a person.2016-05-12May 16 20162016-05-16 +1 copiesA large indoor hall filled with a dense crowd of seated devotees on red and white floor mats, many in white kurta-style clothing and colourful saris, some with chairs and bags beside them. Overhead, rows of hanging colourful cylindrical and umbrella-shaped lanterns decorate a white tented ceiling. At the far end, a figure in orange-red clothing sits on an elevated seat before a microphone stand, flanked by large screens showing a bearded man in orange. The scene suggests a satsang or discourse session.2016-12-16
