Photo 11702516 +1 copiesApril 25 20162016-04-25A night photograph of a long queue of devotees waiting on a green-carpeted walkway at an outdoor event. Many people stand in a line from the left foreground toward the centre, including women in colourful saris and salwar kameez, men in shirts and trousers, and children, some barefoot. A uniformed police officer stands at the right beside seated people. Behind them are scaffolded temple-style structures, white tents and strings of lights under a dark sky.2016-04-25Night photograph of an open outdoor festival ground covered with green matting, crowded with many people walking and standing in front of a large white tented pavilion lit with warm lights and garlands. Several people in saris, kurtas and shirts move through the crowd; a woman in a white outfit with a red shawl stands near the front. Stars are visible in the dark sky above, and a statue sits on a raised platform at right. The scene suggests a large gathering at a temple-style pavilion, with a small group of figures on a stage at the center.2016-04-25April 27 20162016-04-27 +1 copiesApril 25 20162016-04-25April 25 20162016-04-25April 30 20162016-04-30 +1 copiesApril 30 20162016-04-30Night photo of a crowd moving through a green-matted open area between large white tent structures at an ashram-style event. Many devotees in white kurtas and dhotis with red sashes, and women in saris and salwar kameez, walk or stand in queues divided by metal stanchions. Bamboo scaffolding with a pink and green draped cloth decorates one tent wall, and orange and red flags line the far side. A small group of visitors near the entrance is visible. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so no candidate is singled out.2016-04-28April 28 20162016-04-28April 25 20162016-04-25
