Seated saffron-robed sadhus sit on low wooden stools before brass thalis of food with small steel bowls, eating a meal. A bald man in saffron robes and a rudraksha mala stands at center holding out an orange cloth. Other saffron-clad sadhus, a man in pink kurta, and police in khaki stand nearby, with a green rope barrier and water bottles on the yellow ground. An orange-clad figure with a long grey beard sits at right. The scene reads as a bandara meal for sadhus. Several people are visible, some partially, so the count falls in the 6-20 range.2013-02-15Photo 11702309 +1 copiesA long row of seated men in saffron and orange robes sits cross-legged on a floor before low wooden tables set with steel tumblers, water bottles and metal plates of food, in a tent with orange fabric walls. Several have long grey or white beards, and one wears a red-orange turban; others are bald or have shaved heads. Some hold steel cups, and a few look toward the side. The scene looks like a communal meal for sannyasis at a festival tent.2016-04-23Photo 11702298Photo 11703328 +1 copiesAnnadhan during Allahabad Kumbhamela 20132013-01-01 +2 copiesPhoto 11703346
