A figure in orange and gold robes sits on a red cushioned seat under the tree near a stand-mounted microphone and camera. Many attendees wear white kurtas and white clothing, some in orange or red shawls, while others wear casual shirts; several wear lanyards. On the left, a green-draped stone structure stands beside a heap of red flower petals. The seated crowd fills the foreground and midground. Dry earth ground and scattered leaves surround the gathering.2011-12-05April 03 20162016-04-03Outdoor photo beneath a large old banyan tree with dangling aerial roots. At right, a seated person in orange robes with long dark hair performs a ritual at a brick-lined fire pit holding a lit flame, with brass pots and offerings around it. Behind them, a deity murti is decorated with garlands and a gold-embroidered orange cloth, under a colourful fringed umbrella. In the foreground, a man with a long beard in white clothes sits with hands folded, and several seated devotees in white and dark clothing listen nearby. A small figure in orange stands at far left.2005-07-19Outdoor photograph beneath a large spreading banyan tree with thick low branches and red sacred threads tied around the trunk. In the centre stands a decorated shrine framed by a gold and yellow canopy hung with rows of white flower garlands, with a deity murti at its centre. A robed priest in yellow and white stands before it, and a figure in an orange shawl stands to the right. Dozens of seated devotees in white clothes fill the foreground on the sandy ground, and standing attendants in white kurtas surround the shrine. Tall ceremonial poles with red and orange flags frame the scene. The page links the image to the Jayanti Brahmotsavam; the visible shrine and gathering show a darshan setting, and the seated people number in the dozens.2005-01-01 +1 copiesApril 01 20162016-04-01 +1 copiesPhoto 11705789July 21 20062006-07-21September 24 20162016-09-24May 13 20132013-05-13
