A festive street procession in an Indian city. A golden palanquin-style float with a gold fringed canopy and marigold and white flower garlands carries a seated woman in a red-and-gold dress wearing a red turban and garlands, waving to the crowd. Around the float, bare-chested attendants in white dhotis hold long poles and a tall white-and-orange ceremonial staff. A saffron-robed sannyasi with a shaved head walks beside the float holding a red flag on a pole. Uniformed police officers line the route, and a crowd of onlookers and a cameraman fill the street, with shops and multi-storey buildings behind.2016-04-18A festival procession in a street.
