A hand with a beaded bracelet holds a brass oil lamp with a flame, while another hand rests on a polished brass tray beside a small brass cup and a second lamp. Warm orange light reflects off the metal on a white surface, with a blurred brass tray and a lit lamp in the background.2014-09-13A photograph of a tall brass multi-tiered oil lamp (aarti lamp) with many lit wicks and a large flame rising from the top. Several rings of small flames surround the lamp on a striped woven mat, and a brass figure stands beside it. Blurred white-clad figures sit in the background and a hand in white cloth holds the base. The scene suggests an evening aarti ritual. Watermarked text along the right edge is excluded.2007-12-07
