Colourful petals in pink, red and yellow are scattered across the cloth, with mustard-yellow and red powder rangoli-style borders and a black-seeded patch at the top. Apples and a pomegranate sit at the corners, and a small flame or oil lamp glows at the left edge, with a woven basket out of focus behind. No people are visible.2016-08-14Photo 11702105 +1 copiesA decorated square ritual tray on a silver-edged base is covered with white cloth and arranged with pink and red flower petals, yellow marigold blooms, coloured grain or powder patterns in yellow, red and white, and a black grain square. Two red apples and a pomegranate sit at the corners, with a hand in a gold bangle placing a pomegranate at the right. A lit oil lamp glows at the left edge, with a woven basket and a brass vessel behind. No people's faces are visible; the scene looks like a floral and fruit offering arrangement.2016-08-14Photo 11701971 +2 copiesAugust 14 20162016-08-14Overhead photograph of a ritual arrangement on a lavender and purple striped cloth placed on a grey paved floor. Four rice-based motifs in red, yellow, black and cream form a cross-like pattern around a central cream circle with red and yellow rings. Behind it sit bowls of red apples and green grapes and a small decorated brass-like lamp with a lattice design, with yellow turmeric or kumkum blocks at the top edge. The arrangement resembles a puja or ritual setup; no people are visible.2017-05-02
