Two gilded metal deity murtis stand under a golden arch: the male figure wears a red headcloth, layered beaded necklaces and a raised hand, while the female figure wears a crown, jewelled necklaces and a blue sari. In front, a standing person with long dark hair, dressed in white, holds a lit oil lamp or aarti flame toward the deities, beside a large brass kalasha or lamp. Flower garlands and small offerings lie at the base. Behind him, two decorated deity murtis stand, adorned with garlands of red and white flowers, jewelled necklaces and crowns. Yellow marigold garlands drape the front, and small silver kalasha vessels with leaves sit on a blue and purple draped altar. Two people's heads are visible in the lower foreground. This appears to be an evening puja or aarti at a temple shrine.2013-10-15December 07 20162016-12-07December 08 20112011-12-08A temple ritual photograph in a decorated shrine. In the foreground, a bare-chested priest in a grey head cloth and white dhoti pours liquid from a brass vessel over a gold-framed altar piece draped with yellow and white garlands and red flowers. Opposite him, a woman in a green-and-gold sari sits cross-legged, holding a ritual item. A flame burns on a tray of fruit, flowers and a small decorated offering. Behind them, large deity murtis are dressed in green cloth, garlands and gold ornaments. Marigold petals and brass vessels surround the scene, indicating abhishekam and puja.2015-10-18February 19 20162016-02-19
