The figure wears a maroon and orange cloth, a pink and silver turban, layered garlands of white and yellow flowers, red roses, and gold necklaces. A golden mini-palanquin style throne arch frames it, flanked by golden elephant figures and rows of lit oil lamps on the marble floor. Beaded strings hang from the ceiling and a red-and-white cloth decoration appears behind. No living people are visible. Flower arrangements and lamps mark a festival-style puja display.2022-12-19May 19 20182018-05-19A golden statue seated in a meditative posture with the right hand raised in blessing, wearing a maroon turban with a silver ornament, gold necklaces and maroon dhoti-style cloth. The statue is decorated with garlands of marigold, white jasmine, green leaves and pink flowers, and sits on a gilded throne with a gold canopy. Oil lamps stand on either side, and pink and green fairy lights hang in the background. A small brass bowl with offerings sits at the base, and flower petals are scattered on the platform. No physical people are visible, so this is a depiction in a statue.2024-07-21December 01 20162016-12-01January 04 20172017-01-04 +1 copiesMarch 01 20222022-03-01A gilded figure seated cross-legged on a layered throne-like seat with a red velvet cushion and a silver-studded base, framed by an ornate gold arch topped with a decorative kirtimukha-style ornament. Garlands of white jasmine and red roses with green leaves surround the arch. The figure wears a maroon turban adorned with a jewelled crescent and brooch, a red velvet jacket with heavy silver and jewelled necklaces, and a maroon dhoti. Gold hands rest in a meditative pose, and a gold trident-shaped ornament stands at the right. This appears to be a statue or murti rather than a living person, shown in a shrine setting.2019-01-06
