A photograph of a gold-draped table on a dark stage displaying a set of devotional cutout figures and framed images. Several standing and seated cardboard-style figures show a man in orange-red robes, a red-and-white turban, and a long garland of white flowers, one holding a white ceremonial staff. Framed portraits on the left and a brown box show similar robed figures. Small brass items, a kalasha-like pot, and pink cloth pieces sit among the figures. A tall shrine-style arch with a pyramid-shaped deity motif stands at the left. No physical people are visible; all the robed figures are printed or cutout depictions.2016-12-21December 21 20162016-12-21A photograph of a draped display table covered with gold satin swags edged in silver fringe, set against a dark maroon backdrop. On the table stand several small framed and standing figurines and icons: a shrine-style arched frame with a deity murti, a seated figure in red and gold robes with a garland, two standing figures holding up a hand in blessing with long dark hair and rudraksha-style malas, a seated figure in red-brown garb, and small framed portraits in a red-lidded box and beside it. A wooden box with a purple velvet-lined lid sits at the right end. No physical people are present; all figures are statues, figurines or printed portraits.2016-12-21A photograph of a ritual display table draped in gold cloth before a deep red curtain. Several framed cut-out standing images of a bearded figure in saffron-and-red robes with rudraksha malas, and temple-shrine arches, are arranged in a row. A red cloth bag on the left shows a sepia portrait of a turbaned man. Brass lamps, bells, a small metal stand, golden ornaments and a cloth-wrapped object sit on the table in front. No physical people are visible in the frame.2016-12-21December 21 20162016-12-21December 21 20162016-12-21A table draped in gold cloth holds cutout standing figures and framed cards against a dark maroon curtain. Left, a red and gold shrine panel shows a seated figure with many small deity forms above. Centre, a standing cutout in an orange turban and saffron robe holds a trident-topped staff and wears a white flower garland and a gold necklace. Right, smaller cutouts in orange turbans and rudraksha malas stand before a blue cosmic background and a fiery orange glow. A metal box with a lilac lid and a silver block sit nearby. No living people are visible. The cutouts depict a figure with probable Swamiji cues: orange turban, saffron clothing, trident and rudraksha. Their printed portrait style is depiction, so the role is representational only.2016-12-21KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 6/5/20202020-06-05A stage display of cutout and printed images on a draped table against a black backdrop.
