A large grey stone Shiva lingam is heavily decorated with garlands of orange, yellow, white and purple flowers wound around its crown and base, with strands of marigolds hanging down its front. Two men in orange cloths and bare-chested stand on a metal staircase at the left, one tending the lingam from above. Seated devotees fill the tiers at the right under a canopy with coloured cloth banners, and a brass lamp is visible at the lower right. The scene suggests a Rudra abhishekam setting.2016-12-17A large outdoor Shiva lingam is decorated with dense garlands of yellow, orange, white and purple flowers, with a flower-draped base on a raised stone platform. Metal stairs and a platform lead up to priests in orange and saffron robes performing a ritual at the top. Below, many seated participants, some bare-chested and some in white, sit on red steps beside rows of small brass lamps, while others stand near the base. The setting is a large outdoor ritual ground beside a tall beige wall with red flags, consistent with a Shiva abhishekam with floral offerings.2016-12-17December 27 20132013-12-27December 15 20162016-12-15December 18 20162016-12-18December 27 20132013-12-27
