November 07 20162016-11-07A large dark grey stone Shivalinga is being bathed with water on an outdoor platform. Three bare-chested men stand on a raised metal scaffold platform behind the linga, decorated with yellow and red flower garlands; the man in the centre pours water from a brass vessel over the top while the others assist, one wearing a rudraksha mala. The linga has three silver horizontal bands with a round silver disc at its centre. Behind are a terracotta-coloured building and rows of grey stone deity sculptures on tiered steps, with saffron flags visible. The scene suggests an abhishekam.2016-11-07Photo 11698726 +1 copiesFebruary 20 20172017-02-20January 09 20172017-01-09February 27 20172017-02-27A large grey stone Shivalinga with a rounded top sits in a wide black stone basin, decorated with a garland of yellow and red flowers and streaked with yellow and white abhishekam liquid. Behind it, a red multi-storey building with grey windows rises beside rows of grey stone statues on steps, with red flags on poles. Three men in orange and white ritual clothing stand on a raised metal platform above, one holding a brass vessel and pouring, while another man faces him. The scene suggests a Shiva abhishekam in progress.2016-11-07January 09 20172017-01-09February 22 20162016-02-22November 28 20162016-11-28November 07 20162016-11-07November 07 20162016-11-07
