The lingam is wrapped with a garland of marigolds and red flowers in yellow, orange, red, purple and white, and has silver bands with a central disc. The pourer wears orange-red robes, a red flower garland and a shaved head with tilak markings. Three other robed men in orange-red garments with rudraksha malas stand beside the platform, one with a shaved head and tilak, watching the abhishekam. Pale sky is visible above.2013-07-08 +1 copiesPhoto 11697800November 21 20162016-11-21December 28 20162016-12-28November 28 20162016-11-28Photo 11698414January 02 20172017-01-02A large black Shivalinga is being bathed with milky white liquid that runs down its surface, outdoors under an overcast sky. A multicoloured garland of marigolds and other flowers in red, yellow, white, green and purple arches over its top. On a metal-railed platform to the left, several men in saffron-orange robes stand; a man with long dark hair and a red-orange shawl with a flower garland holds a white offering, next to a bald priest with white forehead markings and a rudraksha-style necklace. Another orange-robed figure stands at the far left, and a person in white stands on the right beside a green tree. The lingam rests on a dark carved yoni-peetha base, indicating abhishekam.2013-06-03January 30 20172017-01-30
