Women in colourful saris (red, teal, green, magenta) walk in rows balancing brass pots (kalasha) on their heads, each decorated with yellow and red flowers, white garlands and leaves. Several women raise their hands to steady the pots. Behind them, a man in an orange-saffron cloth with rudraksha mala beads and a gold chain walks at the front-left, and a shaved-headed man in a light shirt and white dhoti stands nearby. Brass trumpet-like instruments and an orange umbrella appear in the background, along with a ceremonial palanquin or decorated object carried above the crowd. Many people line the route. This appears to be a temple-bound kalasha procession.2013-11-11July 14 20092009-07-14
