Two men in white shirts and white head coverings reach down with bowls and ladles, a third volunteer in a red shirt leans over the truck bed, and a man in a dark shirt stands on the truck. Below, villagers queue: a woman in a red and yellow sari holds a steel tiffin carrier, an older woman in a yellow blouse and patterned sari stands beside a man in a yellow shirt and checked trousers, and several children in red, blue and yellow clothing reach upward. A house with a red-tiled roof and oleander shrubs lines the dirt road, and an orange banner is fixed to the truck side.2012-01-06April 2008 - Making Of Kailaasa In TiruvannamalaiDecember 22 20102010-12-22A construction site outdoors with two workers shoveling sand from a yellow wheelbarrow marked with the numeral 2 onto a concrete slab. The man on the right wears a white shirt, a blue checked lungi, and a striped head wrap, and is using a shovel. The young worker on the left wears a pink t-shirt and a white head cloth and holds the wheelbarrow handles. Behind them are a block wall building, red-and-wooden formwork panels, pale pipes, and a dry landscape with bare trees and hills. No swami or ritual figure is visible.2010-02-03A construction site beside a dry-banked channel with green reeds and palm trees. Workers in everyday clothing dig and shovel along a freshly concreted walkway. A black water pipe runs overhead across the scene, supported on wooden stakes. Stone retaining walls and piles of rubble and sand line the banks, with a few more workers visible in the background near heaped stone.2009-10-15November 18 20162016-11-18Construction site with a trench being dug and lined with grey concrete blocks along the foundation. Several workers are visible: a man in a white shirt and cap walking on the left, a woman in a blue saree and red blouse crouching at the trench, a woman in a red saree standing on the right edge, and a woman in a patterned saree kneeling beside piles of rough grey stones. Stacks of concrete blocks sit on the far right and left, with red earth, a sand heap and trees in the background. No a person candidate is present; the setting is a building foundation work site in Tiruvannamalai.April 2008 - Making Of Kailaasa In TiruvannamalaiA flatbed truck with tall red-painted side racks stands on sandy ground while workers unload metal panels and steel beams. A man in a white and pink striped shirt and jeans stands on the truck bed lifting a grey metal panel. Another worker in a patterned top stands beside the truck, and a boy in a red and blue striped sweater faces the truck from the foreground. Behind them are white tent canopies and stacked concrete slabs and wooden planks on a paved area, with a rope coiled on the left side of the truck.2016-11-20
