Several young men in saffron-orange robes and matching orange shawls dig into reddish-brown earth with shovels; one bends low with a shovel, another stands with a spade. Women in white and a woman in a red-patterned sari stand among them, and a man in white with glasses observes at left. Sandy mounds of excavated soil surround the pit, and a yellow vehicle is visible at the right edge.
