October 20 20162016-10-20Outdoor photograph seen from behind of three men in orange and rust-coloured cloths, bare-shouldered and wrapped at the waist. Under a red umbrella with multicoloured pom-pom fringe, the central figure has very long, dark, matted locks falling to his waist, with a rust-coloured wrap; a man in orange stands to the left and another in orange to the right, one holding a small dark object. Trees and bright sunlight fill the background.2018-05-10February 03 20172017-02-03February 03 20172017-02-03February 03 20172017-02-03A photograph of a man standing barefoot on an unfinished concrete rooftop, facing left. He has long dark dreadlocked hair falling past his shoulders, a short sandalwood-coloured forehead mark, and wears a rust-red unstitched cloth draped over his upper body and wrapped around his lower body with a gold-bordered hem, leaving the right shoulder bare. A red thread is tied on his right wrist. Behind him a yellow corrugated metal wall, stacked concrete blocks, plastic buckets and a rope railing sit on the roof, with a dirt construction site, trees and hills under a cloudy sky beyond. A partly visible person in a pink and white sari stands at the right edge. The person is an appearance-based probable candidate for a person: long dark hair and a distinctive rust-red dress with a gold border are present, but the face and identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2017-08-27May 10 20182018-05-10A shirtless man in an orange dhoti and orange shawl stands with his back to the camera, holding a ceremonial object, before a large seated painted or printed figure of a saffron-robed guru with a turban, rudraksha mala and gold garland, under a multicoloured fringed umbrella. The figure appears in an image on a board or statue rather than as a physical person. Behind is a rocky wooded hill, orange shipping containers and a white wall.2017-02-03Outdoor photo on a bare red-earth ground with trees behind. A long-haired person in orange robes with a red edge walks barefoot beside a shaved-headed attendant in orange who holds a bright orange umbrella over their head. Another man in white dhoti and shirt stands further back. A grey stone yoni-shaped pedestal with a small white mound of powder sits in the foreground. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), walking in orange robes with long hair under an umbrella held by an attendant.January 01 20182018-01-01Photo 11717021Outdoor photo at a hillside site with a rocky, scrubby mountain rising behind a row of rust-coloured shipping containers under a corrugated roof. In the foreground a bare-chested priest in an orange dhoti and orange shawl stands on a raised stone platform, holding a ritual lamp aloft over a seated figure. The seated figure wears a pink garment, a red-beaded mala and a gold necklace, and sits on a brown seat beneath a multicoloured ceremonial umbrella with a tasselled fringe. Concrete pillars frame the platform, a white car is parked at left, and a woman in white stands at the right edge. The seated figure has distinctive long hair and ornate clothing, but the identity is uncertain, so the candidate is described only by appearance.2017-02-03
