The figure wears a red and gold crown, a large gold-and-jewelled necklace layered with silver and beaded strands, white dhoti-style garments with a magenta cloth draped across the lap, and silver armlets. A small bronze Ganesha figure rests in its lap. Behind it rises a gold-coloured hooded canopy or seat back with multiple raised finials. A red and gold vertical panel stands to the left against a dark backdrop. The scene is a decorated murti in a shrine setting, with no living people present.2013-12-20A seated statue or murti on a tall golden throne with a multi-hooded golden serpent canopy behind it. The figure wears a jeweled crown, layered silver and gold necklaces, a white dhoti with gold border and a purple cloth draped over the lap. It holds a small ornate silver and wooden object in one hand. Garlands of white, yellow, red and purple flowers cover the throne and frame the figure, and the base is decorated with coiled golden serpent rings on a yellow cloth.
