Photo 11697080 +1 copiesA photograph of a stage event. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a saffron-orange garment, orange shawl and rudraksha mala, sits smiling on an ornate carved wooden throne-chair at left, with a silver trident beside him and a decorated pot at his feet. To the right, three figures are seated: two ornately decorated deity murti in gold and red silk with flower garlands, and a statue in a red-and-gold garment beside them. A microphone stand stands in front of the seated figures and a peacock-motif backdrop fills the background. Swamiji (probable): the man on the throne has long swept-back hair, saffron-orange clothing, and rudraksha mala cues, and is seated in the honoured position.2015-12-08December 08 20152015-12-08 +1 copiesDecember 08 20152015-12-08Photo 11697302 +1 copiesOctober 26 20152015-10-26Photo 11696682 +2 copiesDecember 31 20152015-12-31 +1 copiesOctober 16 20152015-10-16October 14 20152015-10-14December 07 20152015-12-07A stage set for a darshan event in a dimly lit hall, with an orange-draped stage and a red and gold-edged drape along its front. Centre stage stands a life-sized figure in orange robes, gold necklaces and a rudraksha-style garland, holding a trident-like staff; it appears to be a statue or effigy rather than a living person. Beside it sit two seated figures in orange and gold dress, and to the left a brass kalasha-type pot sits on the stage. Ornate carved thrones and a tapestry backdrop frame the scene. Large screens on either side show a painted portrait of the same orange-clad figure holding a trident. The sculptures are the main subject; no physical people are visible in the hall.2015-12-07
