In the foreground, several boys sit cross-legged playing drums and long brass horns, one with a vertical tilak and red-and-gold bead necklace. Behind them, older robed devotees sit or stand, including a seated man in white with a rudraksha mala. A raised red platform with a brass kalasha-style pillar stands at right, with a camera operator and a white car in the background.2014-11-25February 06 20142014-02-06November 17 20152015-11-17June 03 20172017-06-03January 15 20162016-01-15 +1 copiesNight-time temple ritual with a large crowd seated on stone steps under string lights and stage lamps. In the foreground, a bare-chested drummer in an orange cloth and rudraksha mala beats a barrel drum wrapped in yellow cord, while a young boy in orange and a child with a tilak watch nearby. A man in a white dhoti with gold border sits at left beside a stone kalasha-like vessel. Behind them, many devotees in white, orange, red and pink clothes hold brass horns and pour or blow into golden horns. The scene reads as a procession-side ritual during an evening brahmotavam event.2016-12-06
