A photograph of a padukā puja at an ashram hall. On the left, a shaved-headed priest in white ritual clothes with a gold necklace sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne-style seat, while a kneeling assistant in white dhoti and shawl attends to him, holding a small vessel. On the right, an empty gold and red throne is draped with a marigold garland and has a framed portrait of a woman in orange-saffron clothes with a garland and a rudraksha-style necklace resting on its seat. A brass kalasha with yellow flowers sits on a red-draped stool in front. Behind them stand a dark notice board and a pillar, with an orange curtain at the back.

Several women in white and cream traditional clothing kneel and sit around a gold-ornate ceremonial seat with red cushions. The seat is draped with a garland of yellow and orange flowers and holds a framed portrait of a figure in orange robes, labelled as a portrait, not a physical person. In front, silver thali trays hold offerings of flowers, sweets and lamps on a gold table. Gold carved panels and a red-and-white striped pillar frame the scene.

A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair and a green garland sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, applying a tilak or mark to the forehead of a kneeling devotee dressed in white. The devotee kneels on a red-cushioned gold footstool, hands near the forehead. The seated figure holds a brass plate in one hand and a small object in the other. Behind them, a row of people in white and saffron clothing stand near a pillar, and a dark banner with white lettering hangs at the top of the hall.

A photograph of a ceremonial scene inside a temple hall. A woman with long dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron garment, sits on an ornate gold throne with a carved backrest and bare feet resting on a gold footstool. A small girl in a pink and green dress leans forward to offer something to her, while a man in white ritual dress with a red-and-white shawl stands bending toward the girl. Behind them a man in white kneels or bows, and others in white stand along the side. Gold trays and flower garlands are visible on the floor in front of the throne, and a red carpet covers the platform.

A seated figure in orange robes and a red blouse, wearing a green garland and long dark hair, holds a silver plate and touches the forehead of a young man kneeling in white on a red cushioned golden stool. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and orange or yellow shawls stand in a row near a wall with a framed sign, and a plate or tray is visible near the kneeling man. The scene reads as a blessing or initiation rite.

A framed portrait of a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes, seated cross-legged in meditation, sits on a gold-ornate throne-like seat with red cushions in a temple shrine. The portrait is draped with marigold garlands striped in yellow, white and dark tones. Behind it, a priest in white dhoti and shawl, with bare upper torso and bare-shaved head, stands with hands folded in devotion beside a golden deity murti under red and pink drapes. A brass oil lamp stands on the lower left. Gold pillars and carved stone surround the shrine.

A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back hair and a pink-and-yellow garland sits on an ornate gold throne decorated with flowers, leaves and red-and-yellow garlands. The seated figure bends forward to a young child in white who holds out a hand, and a woman in a cream and gold sari stands at left while a man in white shirt and dhoti stands at right. Carved gold lion-like armrests and a flowered backdrop frame the scene.

Night-time ritual indoors at an ashram-style hall. A woman with long dark hair, wearing an orange sari with a green garland, sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with a red cushion. A shaved-headed man in white kneels on a gold footstool with a red cushion and applies a mark or medicine with a small tool to her forehead area while she holds a small object in her hands. Behind them, several people in white and saffron clothing stand under a fluorescent light near a red curtain and a wall board. A brass plate sits on the ground near the footstool.
