At center, a figure seated on a golden palanquin or throne, wearing an ornate gold crown and a white flower garland, appears to be a deity murti or statue rather than a living person. A bald priest in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands at left beside the trident and holds an offering. A man in a yellow-and-white striped shirt stands at right, handling a silver fan-shaped ceremonial umbrella. Bright lamp light and flowers fill the foreground, with several people's heads visible along the bottom edge.2012-04-26January 23 20072007-01-23Night procession on a decorated ratha-style chariot draped with red and orange flower garlands and hanging gold bells. A seated man in an ornate gold crown and red garment with a white flower garland smiles at the center, while a second man in a gold crown and red cloth stands beside a silver ceremonial trident and a large silver ceremonial disc. An orange umbrella shades the chariot, and a man in a saffron-orange robe stands at the left holding the canopy structure. Marigold garlands and a gold star-shaped ornament decorate the foreground, lit by a bright overhead lamp against a dark sky.2012-04-26Photo 116855992013-02-10 +1 copiesPhoto 116856382013-02-10 +1 copiesPhoto 116856042013-02-10 +1 copiesMay 21 20162016-05-21Photo 11695475 +1 copiesApril 18 20162016-04-18
