April 23 20152015-04-23A seated man in a rust-orange turban and matching orange-brown robes sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with a tiger-striped cushion beneath him. He wears a dense garland of white jasmine, red roses and red beads with a rudraksha mala and gold ornaments, and holds a pink lotus in one hand while raising the other palm in blessing. A red bindi marks his forehead and gold bangles circle his wrists. Swamiji (probable): the orange turban, rudraksha mala and ceremonial garlands match the appearance cues for the page's subject, seated as a guru in darshan. Barefoot feet rest on the tiger-skin cushion, with a few loose white petals nearby.2015-04-23Photo 11693939 +3 copiesApril 23 20152015-04-23April 23 20152015-04-23 +1 copiesPhoto 11693969 +2 copiesPhoto 11693955 +1 copiesJuly 12 20132013-07-12April 23 20152015-04-23 +1 copiesPhoto 11693996 +1 copiesJuly 12 20132013-07-12A seated figure in rust-red saffron robes and a matching turban, with a red bindi on the forehead, raises one hand in blessing against an ornate gilded throne backrest. Multiple strands of pink and white flower garlands with gold-embroidered borders hang across the chest, along with a long rudraksha mala and gold ceremonial necklaces with a large gold pendant. Gold bangles adorn the wrists and gold ornaments decorate the arms. The figure sits cross-legged on a tiger-striped cloth over a gold platform with maroon cushions. The figure has long swept-back hair, ornate gold jewelry, saffron clothing and a rudraksha mala, matching the page's Swamiji reference, so this is a probable appearance-based candidate seated in a ceremonial setting. Only one physical person is visible.2015-04-22
