A photograph of a stage at a person Spurana convention. A figure in saffron/orange robes sits on a white-draped chair with hands pressed together in a namaskar gesture, bowing forward. The figure has long dark hair swept back and a bare-armed saffron garment. Behind is a blue backdrop with large red and orange lettering and Tamil script. A white-draped table holds a flower arrangement in a vase, and a microphone stand stands nearby. Two white air coolers flank the stage, and green potted plants sit at the front edge of the red stage platform.2009-11-28November 28 20092009-11-28February 27 20092009-02-27September 15 20092009-09-15A figure in saffron robes and an orange turban stands on a blue-carpeted stage with palms pressed together in namaskar in front of a white throne-style chair, a microphone stand beside them. Behind is a large banner showing a smiling man in a white turban with a red tilak and a red-orange radiant halo, with Tamil text reading Nithyananda Spurana Dhyanapeetam and Chennai. A vase of yellow and red flowers sits on a white-draped table, and a blank easel board is at right. A small framed poster of a man in white is on a stand at left. Tamil-language banner text is visible. The stage is set for a convention session with the saffron-robed figure standing as a speaker. The figure has a rudraksha mala and a saffron turban, cues matching the identity claim but with an uncertain match to the banner portrait.2006-12-16August 16 20092009-08-16November 28 20092009-11-28August 06 20092009-08-06November 28 20092009-11-28July 25 20092009-07-25February 25 2009 Nithyananda Spurana Convention2009-02-25A photograph of a stage event with a large blue banner behind it reading in Tamil and English 'Nithyananda Spurana Dhyana Anubhava Mugam' and 'NITHYANANDA SPURANA PROGRAM (NSP)'. On a red carpeted stage, a standing figure in a long orange robe holds a handheld microphone and speaks; the figure has long, swept-back dark hair and appears to be a probable Swamiji in an orange robe with a visible microphone stand. A white cushioned seat, a flower arrangement and two white cooler units flank the stage, with potted palms at the front edge.2009-11-28
