January 12 20152015-01-12A gilded metal murti of a goddess stands before a dark burgundy drape. She wears a tall jewelled golden crown, large ornate earrings, layered jewelled necklaces with red and green stones, and an orange and green silk garment. Garlands of red, orange and yellow marigolds and rose buds drape her shoulders and arms, and a pink flower is tucked into her raised hand that holds a golden ritual vessel. The setting suggests a temple-style alankaram decoration for an abhishekam day.2021-08-21April 25 20222022-04-25December 24 20092009-12-24A standing metal murti of a deity, dressed in a red and green silk dhoti with a jewelled, silver-toned crown and elaborate silver necklaces.
