Photo 11689558Outdoor temple scene with a fire pit offering. A bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a red turban and a saffron-ochre shawl... sits on the left, feeding a flame at a wooden-framed fire altar (homa kunda) with brass bowls, banana offerings and red flower petals. Behind the altar stands a large colourful deity murti with white garlands, flanked by smaller figures including an elephant-headed Ganesha form. To the right a seated man in saffron-orange robes sits before a microphone and open books, while a sheet of striped red and blue cloth and a decorated carpet lie on the ground. A marigold-garlanded palanquin-style shrine stands at left under a tin roof and palm trees.2014-10-02Photo 11689549 +1 copiesPhoto 11689555October 18 20122012-10-18 +1 copiesOctober 02 20142014-10-02October 19 20122012-10-19 +1 copiesOctober 03 20142014-10-03Photo 11689561 +1 copiesOctober 10 20132013-10-10Photo 11689563October 11 20132013-10-11
