A lion sits below her, and a green-skinned figure and a figure in gold with a garland stand at the base. A man in a saffron-red dhoti and shawl, seen from behind with his back to the camera, raises a pink lotus flower in one hand toward the murti, apparently performing a puja. A Ganesha figure with a white trunk and orange garland stands at lower left. Green trees and a tin roof frame the outdoor shrine.2014-10-02A photograph of a large decorated deity murti of Durga on a red-draped platform, flanked by smaller figures of Ganesha and Lakshmi-style goddesses, with a lion beside the central goddess who stands on a demon figure. The goddesses wear white embroidered sarees and are garlanded with marigolds and red flowers. In the foreground a shaven-headed priest in rust-orange dhoti and angavastram with a golden border faces the shrine, holding a silver vessel in his left hand, with a rudraksha mala at his neck. A patterned maroon carpet and a small flower-decorated offering tray sit in front. A man's head is partly visible at the lower edge. The setting is an outdoor shrine with trees behind, consistent with a puja or aarti.2014-10-02October 02 20142014-10-02October 11 20132013-10-11
