Two hands, one wearing a thin silver bangle, hold a bundle of thin sticks whose tips burn with a bright flame over a shallow steel plate. Burnt black material and a dark ash mound sit in the plate. Behind it stand a brass oil lamp, a brass vessel, and plates of yellow and red flowers, green leaves and marigolds. The scene suggests a homa or puja offering. No faces are visible and no a person candidate appears in the frame.2018-04-14December 08 20112011-12-08Close photograph of a burning bundle of dried grass or herbs on a round brass plate held by two hands at the right edge, the flames rising high.
