A large yellow banner with Kannada text hangs on the wall, and framed deity and devotional pictures line the walls above a shelf. In the centre, a man in a white dhoti and shawl stands with hands folded, while a bald man in white holds a small framed photograph. Around them, devotees crowd close, including women in saris, one in an orange sari with a long braid, another in blue, and men in white dhotis. A bald figure in saffron-coloured robes stands at the right edge. Many people in the crowd are partially visible.2009-01-07Photo 11688072A crowded indoor ceremony room with cream walls, a decorative marigold garland strung across the top, and a wall fan at left.
