A seated congregation fills a bright room, with rows of devotees on folding chairs and floor cushions facing a decorated stage at the front. Many women wear sarees in pinks, greens and yellows, and several men wear white or light kurtas. Orange and white streamers and a hanging decorative garland with colourful panels run across the ceiling above the stage, and a potted plant stands at the right.
