July 01 20142014-07-01A seated man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban is being anointed in a pink-walled domestic room. He wears long rudraksha malas and garlands of white jasmine and red flowers, and his lap holds a pile of orange and pink petals. A standing attendant in white dhoti and shawl pours liquid from a steel vessel while a woman in a white sari with butterfly motifs pours from a kalasha above his head. Another priest in white dhoti with a rudraksha mala stands at right. A trident leans beside the throne-like red chair, and a cabinet and television are visible behind. The scene appears to be an abhishekam or padapuja at a devotee's home, with a person as the central seated figure in saffron robes and rudraksha malas.2014-07-01July 01 20142014-07-01A seated figure on an ornate gilded throne is draped in a heavy mantle of pink rose petals and white jasmine garlands, with pink flowers scattered in the hair. He wears a rust-red garment, gold chest ornaments, gold bangles and a gold ring, and a red mark on the forehead. Behind the throne a silver oil lamp and a few blurred onlookers appear against dark drapery. Swamiji (probable): the figure is seated on a gilded throne with long swept-back hair, rust-red robes, gold ornaments and garlands, matching the page's note of Swamiji at this event.2016-05-24August 07 20172017-08-07July 01 20142014-07-01A seated figure on a red-cushioned gold throne with a gilded scalloped backrest is being showered with petals. Rose petals in pink, red and orange fall from a metal vessel held above by a person at upper left, covering the figure's head and shoulders. The seated person wears a rust-brown garment and a white flower garland drapes down the chest. Pink petals pile across the red seat and gold base. Behind, a second robed figure in orange stands near a white fan.2017-08-07May 24 20162016-05-24July 01 20142014-07-01A seated figure in an orange-red robe on a red-upholstered chair is showered with pink petals, which fill much of the frame and partly obscure his head. He wears white and red flower garlands, a rudraksha mala and bangles, and holds a silver trident-staff upright. To the left a woman in a white sari with brown butterfly motifs holds a steel vessel, and a blue bag sits beside her. Behind on the right a young man with a shaved head wears a white dhoti with gold border and a rudraksha mala, hands folded. The room has pink walls, a glass cabinet and a flat-screen television.2014-07-01August 07 20172017-08-07August 07 20172017-08-07
