Center right, a figure in orange saffron robes with a white floral garland, a white-and-saffron headwrap and a gold necklace holds a small gold object in both hands. Beside him, a man in orange robes with a gold chain and garlands holds a white cloth or item. Behind them, a golden trident is raised on a pole and an orange-and-red canopy stands at the upper right. Men in white kurtas and dark suits, plus women in white saris with orange shawls, line the path. A white ribbon stretches across the frame, and a silver tray with flower garlands sits at right. Coloured rangoli designs cover the ground.2008-12-29Photo 11688101Photo 11688099A man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a red tilak stands in a red-framed glass doorway, a flower garland of white and red blossoms around his neck, cutting or holding a white ribbon stretched across the entrance as a ribbon-cutting opening. Surrounding him, several men in orange and saffron robes and white dhotis press their palms together in anjali, one holds a tray of flowers, a small child peeks from the left, and a rudraksha mala is visible on one man's neck. A red-roofed open shelter and trees are in the background. The scene reads as an inauguration ceremony at a temple-style entrance.2008-10-27Photograph of a procession entering a building through a covered breezeway at an ashram. In the centre, a person in a deep maroon-brown robe with a gold-striped border wears a long white and red flower garland and walks with bare feet. Beside and behind them, several saffron-and-orange robed men with rudraksha malas walk, one in white dhoti. A woman in a white sari with a red border carries a plate of offerings. Another man in a white shirt stands at the back, and a white van is parked behind the group. Multiple people are visible, consistent with a ritual procession toward a puja location.2014-06-28
