At the centre, a man in a red-maroon dhoti and shawl wears a large pink, white and purple flower garland, a gold pendant necklace and a dark turban-like headdress with long swept hair, walking forward with hands joined. Around him, saffron-clothed drummers and singers carry a drum and microphone, and other devotees wear rudraksha malas and white tilak marks. Orange and yellow festival umbrellas and brass horns rise above the crowd. The scene is a festival procession in a busy street.2016-01-03Outdoor procession on a street lined with orange flags and a large banner showing a smiling man in an orange turban, with Tamil text printed on it.
