Photo 11742709A photograph of a welcome procession outside a modern white-and-glass building with palm trees. At centre, a man in a red-orange turban and draped red-saffron cloth wears a large garland of white and pink flowers and a red-orange floral garland, walking barefoot on a paved walkway. Around him, saffron-robed sannyasis with shaved heads and rudraksha malas walk alongside men in white dhotis and shirts. On the right, a drummer in white with an orange cloth carries a large drum. Whether the garlanded central man is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so he is described by role as a garlanded guest of honour.2014-06-20Outdoor procession under a golden parasol with a palm tree behind. A central man with a shaved-head look wears a dark maroon-brown wrapped garment, a long gold-bead and rudraksha-style mala, and a thick red and yellow marigold garland with white flower strands. Beside him on the left, an older man in an orange shawl and white dhoti wears a white jasmine garland and holds his hands together. Flanked by saffron-robed priests and men in white shirts, many with flower garlands, some raising hands. A wooden palanquin pole and an ornate fan-shaped canopy appear at top right. Saffron and orange clothing dominates the scene; the central figure's appearance does not clearly establish the a person identity.2013-11-11Outdoor photo of a procession on a paved walkway beside a white marble building.
