Photo 11687021Photo 11687023Photo 11687026Interior of a mutt hall with pale green walls, a pink and yellow painted ceiling border, and two ceiling fans. Several framed portraits hang on the walls and along a decorative ledge with white scalloped edging and small red trim; the central portraits show seated saffron-robed sages in meditation poses and a standing figure in orange robes. Wall lamps are mounted at the ledge. No people are visible in the room. The image is blurry and the portraits are small, so no individual is confidently identified.2014-05-23A framed painted portrait hangs on a white wall, photographed as a photo of a wall-mounted picture. The painting shows a seated, bald-headed saint in pink-saffron robes with a red tilak on the forehead, wearing a green and pink flower garland and a dark rudraksha-style bead necklace. A blue halo surrounds his head, and he sits on a cushioned seat with a lion or tiger figure below, against a dark backdrop with red, green and cream decorative arches. A printed Devanagari caption runs along the bottom of the painting. This is a depiction on a wall, not a person physically present, so the appearance-based label is a person only as a painted figure; the caption is not legible enough to attribute.2008-07-10Interior of a whitewashed ashram room with a ceiling fan and a hanging light. Framed portraits of saints hang on the walls, including a robed figure seated in meditation on the left and a standing figure in ochre robes at centre. A deep maroon cloth banner with gold trim hangs on the left wall, bearing Hindi text and a gold Shiva lingam emblem. Beside it is a framed gold-bordered yantra with an Om symbol above a numbered grid. A small wooden door is on the right. In the lower left, a seated man in ochre robes and a white cloth sits near a low table. At the bottom centre, the top of another seated person's head is visible.2008-07-10Interior wall of a small room with a framed triptych print of three seated saints on a red-bordered frame. Below is a recessed niche holding a folded cloth bundle. A smaller framed portrait of an elderly bearded man hangs at lower left and a framed photo of a smiling woman in white at lower right. Two silver-framed deity images hang higher on the wall at upper right.1995-01-01May 24 20122012-05-24 +1 copiesPhoto 11687020 +1 copiesInterior of a plain white-walled ashram room with a large red patterned carpet on the floor. The seated figure, in a saffron-orange robe with a pink and white flower garland and a rudraksha-style bead necklace, sits cross-legged in meditation with hands resting on knees and a halo behind the head. Behind him are a white cow, a small shrine structure, trees, a lake and distant mountains at sunset. A kamandalu-like water pot and a book lie in front.
