March 08 20142014-03-08A photograph of a large monitor screen showing a two-way video link. On screen, a man in a light blue shirt and grey striped shawl stands with his eyes closed while a bare-chested, shaved-headed man in a rust-brown wrap and white beaded necklace touches his forehead. A man in a dark jacket with a grey argyle sweater stands at left, and women sit on a floor at right. A red-and-gold cloth lies on the floor near a seated figure in red. A white banner reads TORONTO KAILASAM. The monitor is the subject, with the people visible only through the screen.2014-03-08November 22 20142014-11-22December 18 20122012-12-18Photo 11744214 +1 copiesDecember 16 20122012-12-16April 05 20122012-04-05 +2 copiesA screen shows a live video link captioned TORONTO KAILASAM in large black letters across the top. In the foreground, an older bald man in a grey jacket and glasses is held at the head by a bare-chested, shaved-headed sadhu with a long red-orange cloth and a rudraksha mala, who is touching the man's ear and head. A white forehead marking is visible on the sadhu. Behind them, a woman in white with a shawl holds papers, and other people in a yellow sari and blue striped shirt stand in a room with red curtains. Caption text reads Toronto-Kailasham and a copyright line. The sadhu shows no distinctive a person cues beyond ordinary sadhu attire, so identity is uncertain.2014-04-19Indoor photo of a seated man with a white vibhuti mark on his forehead, wearing a rust-red wrap, a thick garland of white flowers with blue and yellow threads, and long rudraksha beads, with a rudraksha bracelet on his arm. He is being offered a gesture by a man in a white shirt with a red lanyard, who holds a small gold-coloured object and touches the seated man's forehead area. Behind them a woman in an orange sari with rudraksha mala and vibhuti marks stands, along with a man in white and a partly visible young boy. A red curtain and an air conditioner are in the background. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala and a ceremonial garland, consistent with a Swamiji candidate receiving a ritual gesture.2014-04-27August 31 20112011-08-31October 26 20152015-10-26A photograph of a devotional exchange in a temple setting. A woman in an orange-brown sari with a white flower garland and a dark bindi places her hand on the head of an older man in a white shirt who bows forward with hands joined. Behind her, a bald man in white ceremonial dress with a yellow sacred thread and a shawl watches. On the left, a shaven-headed monk in orange robes is partly visible, and a camera operator stands in the background. The setting appears to be a pooja or blessing moment with a cushioned seat and a bright, sunlit background.2012-06-21
